## 🎮 Section 5: Educational Classroom Counting Games (Die Lernspiele) [2]

Interactive games make practicing numbers and pronunciation an absolute blast! [
2]

### 1. “Hop and Count” Game (Hüpfen und Zählen) [2]

The teacher gives the command **Steh auf!** (Stand up!) to the class. [2] Then,
the teacher calls out a number, such as **vier** (four). [2] The chosen student
jumps forward 4 times, counting loudly in German with each hop: **eins, zwei, drei,
vier**. [2] The rest of the class supports them on the teacher’s command **Klatsch
in die Hände!** (Clap your hands!) by clapping in unison with each hop! [2]

### 2. “The Magic Number” Game (Die magische Zahl) [2]

The teacher turns away and secretly writes a number on the chalkboard, like **fünfzehn**(
15). [2] Turning back, the teacher asks: **Wie viele?** (How many?). [2] Students
take turns making guesses. If they are close, the teacher raises both hands up;
if they are far, the teacher lowers their hands. [2] The student who guesses the
exact magic number with correct German pronunciation gets to go to the board and
write the next magic number! [2]
