The life of Eskimos
Eskimos are the native people live in the North Pole.It is a very cold region Summers are very short but Winters are long.The average temperature is in Summer around -100 C and -60 C in Winter.
Eskimos always wear warm fur and leather clothes.They can’t grow any vegetables or fruit,because there is snow and ice most of the year.So,they live on hunting and fishing.
Eskimos use ice blocks to make their houses,the igloos.They eat lots of seal, sea-calf and whales.Dogs are very important for Eskimos,because they provide transportation on the frozen sea.They travel by dogs.
