Let’s remember some and any.( Geçen sene öğrendiğimiz some ve any konusunu hatırlayalım.)
SOME
For countables : Bazı, bir kaç (sayılabilenler için) There are some children in the park. I have got some books. For uncountables : Biraz (sayılamayanlar için) There is some cheese and bread on the table. He has got some money. Rememeber!! Some is used only in negative sentences.(Some ‘ ın sadece olumlu cümlelerde kullanıldığını unutmayalım.)
ANY : HİÇ
COUNTABLES( SAYILABİLENLER) There aren’t any flowers in the vase. – Are there any students in the class? – Yes, there are. UNCOUNTABLES(SAYILAMAYANLAR) Tom hasn’t got any money. – Have you got any time? – No I haven’t. Remember!! Any is used in questions and negatives.( Any’in sorularda ve olumsuz cümlelerde kullanıldığını unutmayalım.)
Some and any are used with the plural form of the countable. (Some ve any’ i sayılabilenlerle kullanırken kelimeyi ‘s’ takısı ile çoğul yapmayı unutmayalım.) Kuralsız çoğullar ‘s’ takısı almaz. Örn: person-people,man-men,child-children.
There are some children in the garden.
A lot of??? A little??? How much…??? A few??? How many…..???
For countables (Sayılabilen kelimeler için aşağıdaki yapıları kullanıyoruz ve kelimeyi ‘s’ takısı ile çoğul yapmayı unutmuyoruz. Örn: a lot of books, a few girls… ) A lot of:bir çok A few: birkaç How many?: kaç tane
A lot of books,a lot of apples…….. A few students,a few boys How many books…..?
There are a lot of cars in the car park. There are a few cars in the car park. How many cars are there?
For uncountables (Sayılamayan kelimeler için aşağıdaki yapıları kullanıyoruz.)

A lot of: çok A little: biraz How much..? ne kadar

I can buy a car. I can buy a bar of chocolate.
Remember!!! Sayılamayan sözcükler ‘s’ takısı almaz.
